The learning from this course is supported by several videos  from Lelly 
Oboh, consultant pharmacist for older people at Guy's and St Thomas' 
Hospital and the NHS Specialist Pharmacy Service who talks about the 
practical application of each module to clinical practice.

This course is based on the NICE Clinical Guideline 180:Management of Atrial Fibrillation. It is designed for medicines management teams, GPs, practice nurses, practice pharmacists, PCN staff and non-medical prescribers.

This CPD certified e-learning course is designed for GPs, nurse prescribers,
PCN staff and practice pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, medicines
optimisation teams and community pharmacists.
The course has nine modules, two case studies and a final exam with a
70% pass mark.
Once the course is passed a certificate of completion will be issued.

This e-learning course is CPD certified and is aimed at medicines

NEW FOR 2021 - updated version [supersedes previous concise & full versions]
This course is aimed at GPs, nurse prescribers, PCN staff and practice pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, medicines optimisation teams and community pharmacists.
It is an update to the original 2017 courses and reflects the increased knowledge and evidence in this area.

This course is designed for medicines management teams, GPs, practice nurses, practice pharmacists, PCN staff  and non-medical prescribers.

The course should take around 2.5 hours in total to complete, although it is recommended that is is done in short sections rather than the whole course at once, to allow sufficient time to read the accompanying references for the particular module. NEW 2020 Course - contains significant updates to previous module

The CPD certified Practice Medicines Co-ordinators (PMC) e-learning package 
is aimed at non-clinical staff in GP practices that manage the repeat  
prescribing process.
The course is split into 10 modules, 3 case studies and a final assessment.

The Care Homes 1 e-learning package is aimed at all care home staff
involved with managing medicines. It is the first of several planned e-learning 
packages for Care Homes and includes 9 modules  in addition to three case
studies to help apply learning to practice.

The Care Homes 2 e-learning package builds on the content covered in the 
Medicines use in care homes course 1and includes 7 modules focusing on
key topics, in addition to three case studies that will help apply learning to 
practice.

The Care Homes 3 package builds on the content covered in the first two 
Medicines use in care homes courses and includes six modules focusing on 
key topics, in addition to two case studies that will help apply learning to 
practice. The course is designed for all care home staff and covers the use of 
certain ‘high risk’ or specialist medicines that require specific consideration
and/or administration techniques.

This is the first of two e-learning courses and is based on guideline 67 from  
NICE which was published in March 2017.
It focuses on the medicine-related processes which social care providers 
need to consider in relation to medicines use.
